I haven't watched 'Destiny of the Daleks' in at least ten years, and I was happy to find that it is still enormously entertaining, holding up just as well as the 'Key To Time' series which preceded it. I dearly wish someone could explain to me how I possibly managed to forget that in her first adventure after regenerating (from Mary Tamm to Lalla Ward), The Destiny of the Daleks, Romana wears a pink version of the 4th Doctor's iconic outfit!!! My goodness, how stunning is this dress??? I loved all the 18th century pieces in 'The Girl in the Fireplace', but with deference to Mme de Pompadour, this Elizabethan outfit easily takes the cake as my favorite costume thus far in the new run of Doctor Who.
